Rustick Weekender – Heritage Parkland, Historic buildings, Extensive Views (and a pub)
Starting from The Okeover Arms which is situated between Ashbourne and Thorpe. It is a hidden gem in the Dove Valley, away from some of the more popular locations but equally as stunning.
Beautiful parkland with the Hall in full view as you climb out of the valley heading towards the ruins of an old farm once bustling with life, stock and produce for the estate.
Continuing on with outstanding views over towards Thorpe Cloud and beyond the walk loops around to behind the estate and back to the pub for refreshments.
Booking is advisable if you wish to eat.
