Every part of this weekend will be geared towards bringing back the balance in your life through experiencing the benefits of exercising in nature with Nordic Walking, getting in touch with your body and relaxing your mind through Pilates and attending workshops on Mindset and Lifestyle.
This Retreat will help you to reset your mind and body to its natural rhythm, get your life back on track for those of you who are feeling lost in the business of every day life or will give you the focus, energy and inspiration to move your life forward towards your dreams.
Rydal Hall is a World Heritage site set in over thirty acres of garden, woodland and natural beauty in the Lake District with wonderful views over the Rothay valley. With the Fairfield Horseshoe and Nab Scar as a backdrop, the Hall and its grounds are the perfect place to enjoy this beautiful part of the world.
Prices include accommodation, full board (3 Breakfasts; 2 Packed lunches on Saturday and Sunday; 3 Evening Meals) with vegetarian and vegan options available with advance notice.
Rooms are single occupancy (£450) or shared (£350)
Check-in to your accommodation is 4pm. Luggage may be left onsite earlier. Parking is available in front of Rydal Hall.

Saturday 20th April
10:00am – 2:00pm — Nordic Walk around Grasmere & Rydal Water (5.6 mi/525ft)
This is a rather pleasant, nicely varied, circular of both Grasmere and Rydal Water even with the unavoidable road walking. Part of the route is along the old Coffin road, so called as it was the route used to take the dead of Rydal to the church in Grasmere for burial.
It also passes Dove Cottage which was the home of the Lakeland poet William Wordsworth from 1799 to 1808. And the Wordsworth Trust Shop.

Sunday 21st April
9:00am – 3:00pm — Nordic Walk (7 mi/1,833 ft)
Cascading falls, shaded woodland, open fell, a rocky summit of modest height , ancient lanes, a town and village with long histories, an ancient farmhouse, and above all breathtaking aerial views of Windermere, all combine to make this an unforgettable walk!
This absorbing walk begins in Ambleside, climbs to the summit of Wansfell Pike where we will have superb views (weather dependant!). We pass through one of Lakeland’s most attractive villages, Troutbeck and Jenkin Crag on our return

6:30pm – 7:30pm — Dinner
7:30pm – 9:00pm — Workshop – Successful Ageing starts early!
Monday 22nd April
10:00am — Check Out
10:00am – 12:00pm — Nordic Walk (5mi/896ft)
This walk takes us to the top of Nab Scar and Alcock Tarn

Fitness Level and Clothing
This retreat is graded as moderate (Nordic walking and Pilates) so you will need a reasonable level of fitness. Prior to the retreat you will be sent a recommended kit and clothing list
Minimum and Maximum Numbers
This Retreat will run once a minimum of 4 clients have booked and paid.
